Welcome to Laytonville EcoVillage!

Here you will find out about the ten acres of beautiful forested land in Laytonville, California, which is located right off Highway 101, about a three-hour drive from San Francisco.

The plans are in the works, dreams are being dreamt and eco-forestry workshops have already taken place in preparation for an idyllic dwelling place for a few families and/or individuals to participate in cooperative living, food self-reliance, solar self-sufficiency and honor for the land. We will be stewards, friends, teachers and students and we’ll come from all walks of life to share a lifestyle that we all agree is in alignment with principles of ecology, economics, democracy and all that good stuff that draws people together to improve their lives and those of their neighbors and friends.

Find out about opportunities to participate in it by either buying in, doing a work exchange or renting. There will also be many opportunities to learn more and get to know us by taking one of the many workshops that are held on the land in forestry, permaculture and natural building.
